Water level:   Normal   -     Water Temp: ~ 49°

We've extended our season!  Our last day will be November 9th. Come on out and enjoy the great fall fishing!  Big fish are on the move.  Walleye this past weekend were really biting!!!

For some Striper action, try by the white seawall on the south side of Petite Lake - 16 ft.  Nice-sized catches coming in recently.  Use small minnows or spikes on a white and chartreuse mini-mite jig.

Crappies are biting well, especially in the afternoon sunshine.  Recently, a couple anglers found a nice school of them.  In the Spring Lake / Petite Lake channel, fish on the east side sunshine. Try small fathead minnows or spikes on mini-mite jigs for some awesome action.

Walleye are showing up at the mouth of Petite toward Fox Lake and on Lake Marie.  Large fathead minnows are working well.

Beautiful perch are being caught at the mouth of Petite Lake in 5 ft. of water.  I haven't seen perch this size from the Chain in quite a while!  Large fathead minnows are the bait to try.

Muskie and Northern action is exciting!.  Several big fish caught recently - and many follows and bite offs.  The northern lakes - Channel, Catherine, Lake Marie and Bluff are all promising.  Try large muskie suckers or crank baits to raise the big ones.

Bluegill are still very active!  Look for them at the lake shorelines, under piers or close to seawalls.  Wax worms or redworms are the best bet.  Mini-mite jigs tipped with a wax worm works well.

Catfish are still biting!  Several whoppers have been caught in the Spring Lake channel around dusk.  Nightcrawlers, Sonny's stink bait or chicken livers on the bottom are bringing in the nice ones.

Largemouth Bass have been fairly active in the channel areas and lake shorelines.  Several nice ones found in the Spring Lake channels on nightcrawlers.  Try buzz baits or scum frogs at the weed lines too.

Hope to see you soon.
